3.20.00: problems with the keystroke editor

Ramiro: Hi, I see that once you entered some keystrokes for a menu entry on the ch180;keystroke editorch180; facility of the stdplug.plg as shipped with SyMon 3.20.00 you canch180;t delete it completely (I mean, setting the field back to blank -› no keystroke). I press F9 (Update) and Enter (to accept the changes) but the existing keystroke sequence string remains and even parts of old longer sequence appear at the end. It is possible to reduce que sequence to a one character but you canch180;t clear ir completely. Regards, -- R

Vladimir Dashevsky: Ramiro This bug is already fixed. It is coming in new update 3.20.02. I have also fixed a bug with keystrokes when you start default OS invisibly to user. In that case ugly keystrokes are put into keyboard buffer even if you didn’t enter them at all. The reason is SyMon does not initialize pointer to current OS descriptor when selecting OS to boot invisibly. So the pointer actually points to 0, and wrong keystrokes appear in console.

Ramiro: Vladimir , Thanks for your kind answer and for taking the time to explain further about the other bug you fixed. I should have know that the issue could have been reported before (I’m finding now that I can read [sort of] the forums with the help of translate.ru). Regards, -- R
